Descripción (en inglés):
The “Centro Histórico de San Salvador – CHSS” is located on downtown San Salvador, El Salvador. The CHSS is hiding the most valuable treasure of salvadorean culture: IDENTITY. That’s why through a huge urban intervention called “THE LOOP: An Urban Intervention at San Salvador Historic Center” the team will be able to bring back to life this part of the city so all nationals and foreign visitors can enjoy the beauty of downtown. The notion of The Loop is that from elastic characteristics of dynamic systems such as a historical center capable of favoring “folding, deployment and rally”. Curl movements between phenomena, processes and structures are compressed, expanded, concentrated, dilated, bounded and coiled in new unusual combinations. Loop is seen through wild trajectories, knots and junctions; ties and virtual links of movement, but also of overlapped messages; magnets of activity destined to cause bizarre situations of intrigue (apparent impossible fusions, that are suddenly possible).
